Horsepower Happenings Season Two Features Pair of First Time Guests
Sterling Heights, MI – As the calendar turns to February, the attention in the racing industry moves to Florida for the annual Speedweeks celebration; with racing across multiple platforms, on multiple surfaces, nearly every day of the week. The excitement of February also means a brand new season of Horsepower Happenings.
Kicking off the season, are a pair of first time guests, who see the sport from very different lights. First, Melinda Russell, the Founder and CEO of the International Women’s Motorsports Association joins the guys to talk about her organization, and how it has gained so much attention if the few short years it has existed.
Then, the fellas call down to Florida, and young up-and-coming sprint car driver, Danny Sams III. The 2018 Rookie of the Year with the Great Lakes Super Sprints announced recently that he and his team will be taking their operation on the road with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series in 2020. Hear what the 17 year old has to say about the change, and what’s to come for his career.
